In his early years, especially in Lotus (2012-13) he was pretty good. He had a good car and was aggressive on the track in the right way. He was one of my favourite driver to watch at that time and all of his podiums was well deserved. After that he had weaker years (mostly because of the cars) but he was still decent. Sadly after the first or second year at Haas he changed, became a hysteria and started to make stupid moves on track. That's the Grosjean that newer fans like you know. I can't deny, in the last few years I thought he has no place in F1 anymore but it's also true that he was a promising young talent with actual talent. I'm kinda sad that he lost his fire. I think he could've been a similar driver to Pérez or Sainz, a decent and steady member of any team. And off-track he is a really nice guy.

@Flowboat yes i am doing something of a research. Terms of that NO. The original lovelive anime actually came out on April 25th 2008 and ended in May 27th 2010. It lasts 2 seasons. Season 1 ended on April 2nd 2009. Whilst season 2 starts on April 9th 2009 and ends on May 27th 2010. Thats how it goes man.

@Flowboat NO. LoveLive Sunshine already went out in september 25th 2012 and they officially made their anime debut on April 7th 2013 in Season 1 and ends in September 1st 2013. Season 2 starts on October 13th 2013 and ends on April 13th 2014.

@A. P. 1080p is a specific term, it means 1920x1080 resolution. So it doesn't matter what "HD" stands for. This video is 360p. Also, back in 2013 1080p was pretty standard already.

@Zaphod The rest of the world is usually some way ahead of the US when it comes to adopting broadcast technologies.

1080p HD was established as the norm in the US in 2009. I doubt it took the rest of the world more than 4 years to follow suit.

@A. P. 360p was not HD in 2013 1080p was very much the standard for HD. The first 4k/UHD TV was announced in 2012 by LG.

@jack munday they already have implemented the cost caps for this coming season. Downforce is being addressed for 2022 with ground effect and the new rules. Good luck on the speed limit in the pit lane considering it's a safety thing. Bringing back refuelling won't change anything and it's more expensive to transport the fuel and also hiring more people. And again it's a huge safety thing as well given what we saw with fire this season just gone

@Tom Bardsley there are many things that need changing in formula one in order to even the field and prevent the big teams from dominating. Personally I would put a spending cap on big teams. Limit the level of down force so drivers are forced to rely more on mechanical grip. Ditch the 30mph speed limit in pits and bring back in race refuelling.

@jack munday I don’t care who the tyre company is but I don’t want tyres that are rock hard that can last the whole race cos then pit stops and strategy don’t matter. I like how the degradation has resulted in differing strategies occurring

First half of the season wasn’t boring. Vettel wasn’t running away with it and several teams were able to make the tyres last. It wasn’t until Pirelli changed the compounds after silverstone was when vettel dominated

@Cliché Guevara Hamilton is a 7x wdc champion, while Vettel is a 4x champion. Hamilton never got absolutely destroyed by a *rookie* teammte like Vettel has in 2014 & 2019.

Just look at this race - Rosberg is a pretty good driver .... but he is nowhere near Lewis in qualifying or the race. Lewis got 100% out of the car. His drive in this race is a good as Seb's.

Vettel was overrated and flattered by Newey's car - and we all knew it. Just like Lewis is today flattered by the Mercedes ... difference is that Lewis has won every series he ever competed in going back to Karting, won at least one race and made at least one pole in every season in F1 no matter the car and he is great in the wet and great wheel to wheel ... so we know Lewis is one of the very best ever .... all these years later, we are still not convinced by Seb - in fact our doubts about him as an all time great driver grow with each year.

@Aditya Nath Rao I completely agree. If Lewis did in 2013 what Seb was doing, he'd have been feted in every sentence. That said, Martin Brundle knows his audience and so do his producers. Most people watching Sky are British -- so they know that in order to keep their interest, prop up LH all the time regardless of performance and either 1) flat-out ignore what Seb does or 2) pretend it's not him, it's the car. Essentially, Sky F1 are a form of propaganda.
